How to Find ANY Company Website Using their Company Name

Wanna find company websites through their name? It's pretty simple. in this video, I lay out everything step by step, and I even gave away some free code that you can implement to speed up the process.

Here's the code:
Step 1) Install ClearBits Free API Script

function clearbit_getDomain(name) {
var suggest_url = base_url_clearbit + 'suggest?query=' + name;
var domain = suggest_response_text[0]['domain'];
return domain;
}

For step 2, the formula I used is: “=clearbit_getDomain()”

This is great Nick thank you. Question-I get it to work fine in a sheet, but then when I close it and open it back up I have to reinstall the script and hit save again to use it, but it seems it only saves it for that session? Do you know what Im doing wrong, or is that how it works?

Hi Nick, Thank you for this! Question though.. I have a relatively large list, is there a way to stop the script from running everytime the excel opens? If not, what do you recommend? This completely slows down my computer because of the list size and script.

Hi Nick, got an error code 404 = unknown route. Did Clearbit change the API.
