As an additional note on Lusat's, I'm not saying Lusat's is trash or unusable. I'm just trying to address Lusat being used as a way too general case of "best staff" when in fact it is quite a poor staff earlier on in the game or later into the game when PoD can just replace it for PVE. Just keep in mind the extra FP cost when optimizing because the similar arguments can also applied in PVP. If you have to drink FP pots more often, better players will punish you for it. Of course, if you're fighting someone that just strolls around letting you drink pots safely at a distance then it wouldn't matter, but more drinking = more openings.

Generally, for RL125 PVP, I almost never use a Lusat's while it is very possible to optimize while using a Lusat's for RL150 PVP (because the extra points makes it way easier to get enough stat spread). Also, if the majority of your gameplay leans towards using low FP cost spells like Carian Slicer, Lusat's will benefit you. Likewise, if you use plenty of low MV spells, Lusat's will also benefit you more than 10% as shown in the video.

Excuse me, but I think you deserve the title of "All-knowing" more than Gideon...

Your channel touches on one of the most niche but also more interesting aspects of these games: the numbers, the math, the data. We have pvp'ers, challenge runners, lore fixes, trolls & shitposters, program wizards and with Chrightt, the science! Awesome job!

This is absolutely amazing. I love the detail. No one else on YouTube is actually doing number breakdowns. I’ve been sharing your vids with all my buddies!

So many videos tell you to dual wield with lusat’s in the off hand. Thanks for actually doing the work to show how things work!

this guy is out here doing the outer gods' work.. damn that spreadsheet is amazing. how long did that one take to make?
either way, this is definitely the most analytical and detailed channel for stats I have seen. no bullshit, just handing out what's going on and explaining where the numbers come from.

This video is absolutely astounding. Clear, concise, to the point and crunching the actual numbers. Great work, definitely earned a sub.

Ayyy, finally someone who gives the crystal staff some recognition! Always thought it's super underrated, only 1, 5% less damage than scepter, and the lack of a built-in skill has been incredibly useful for me

I've been watching the channel since first staves video and so far I think that you are doing a great job for the community. It's really nice to get all the in-depth data about game mechanics being put in easy way so more people can understand it. Thank you for your videos.

First off, we greatly appreciate these in-depth analysis videos, no one comes close right now. I watched the whole video and I think I have a better understanding of the topic except for the most basic part: casting mainhand vs offhand. Do the bonuses never apply when dual wielding casting instruments if you cast with the offhand? I thought it just used the scaling of whatever you casted with period, but I'm not sure anymore.

Great video. I learned a lot... Again. I ended using Meteorite staff until I had enough int to use Carian Regal staff and instantly upgraded it to +8. I didn't want to waste somber stones on a staff that I would replace. Thankfully I found the Staff of Loss and night comet in Sellia right after I picked up Meteorite so I have been rocking Meteorite and Loss since early game. It took me a while to find where to get night shard though.

Intuitively I was always against using Lusat's. Just wasn't really sure how much difference it would make after defense calculation.
Great video as always. Aside from VaatiVidya (so I can make sense of the lore), your videos are the ones I look forward the most.
If you ever need help with the spreadsheets, I'd love to help!

You are doing amazing work! Your videos are superb, honestly. I have been linking your channel and videos to anyone I think that would gain from it in multiple ER discords I'm in, non-stop.
You definitely deserve the views, and for your channel to grow. You keep proving me wrong about certain things every time, and I have learned a lot from you so far.
I am rooting for you, man. You have a big supporter, right here.
Please keep up the good work!

Amazing work, no clickbate just pure analysis. I think that you would also be an asset to the monster hunter community if you ever enjoyed those games!

A lot of people like to say that when you gave up in dark souls it’s the equivalent of your character going hollow.

I think the fact that most mage NPCs go insane in souls games is reflected in magic using players not levelling vigour.

Hey man, I appreciate all the information breakdowns and stuff you've done in regards to Elden Ring. It's been an immense help for me. The next bit can be considered negative comments but try to look at it as (unsolicited) constructive criticism.

I feel like this was a more prevalent comment in your earlier videos, but at times you can come off as monotone. I'm not suggesting to force yourself to become some sort of forcefully hyped energizer bunny by any means but at times it can be difficult for me to listen to your videos in one sitting.

That being said, I feel like this video has improved on what may just be a person gripe of mine. All in all, I appreciate all that you've done and want to express that I am thankful for the work you've put in and the time you commit to these videos. I feel like each of these videos is better than the last and hope you continue to grow and spread out to a bigger audience. :)
