Organizational Units (OUs) are the foundation of your Google Workspace for Education setup.

OUs make it possible to create targeted policies for groups of users (like elementary students) and devices (like Chromebook carts).

Creating too many OUs will make managing your Google domain overly complicated, but creating too few OUs will result in rigid policies that might not work for all users.

This video will review the best practices for creating an OU structure that will work for your school.

Table of contents:
0:00 Introduction
1:00 Creating and managing your OUs
2:33 Simple OU setup
8:06 Advanced OU setup
3:40 Advanced OU setup
7:07 Chromebook OU setup
10:00 Rebuilding your OU structure
