First time I saw Neil LIVE was in Sydney at the Sydney Entertainment Centre way way back at the (so called) last Sydney gig by Split Enz in the mid 80's. That was a hell of a concert and well worth the money, they were brilliant that night and many were sad at the end of it thinking it was indeed the End (Enz of an Era tour). But Neil was still very young and Split Enz were not really finished, as we all know, they have played many reunion gigs, I was at the Newcastle Benefit Concert in 89 and there was Neil with Crowded House and to my delight Split Enz played as well. Some think sex drugs and rock and roll killed all the greats while they were young, not this guy, it has turned out to be a massive and long career. Thanks buddy for the memories.
