DIET UPDATE: why I'm shifting from Fully Raw to High Raw

Hi everyone! So I am answering all of your questions about my recent diet change from raw veganism. Simply put....I can't get the volume in. After 6 years I still can't adjust to the astronomical amounts of raw foods that are required to be consumed on a day to day basis. The effects of naturally under-eating are taking a strong effect now. Even though I don't like it, I have decided to make a shift and it has been an extremely positive one that is helping tremendously. Hopefully my experiences help you out in some way. But definitely always remember to LOVE BEING RAW. :)

If you’re craving more, you can find me on Instagram too! :)

Go raw vegan and love being raw! I completely believe in the low fat raw vegan lifestyle that’s for sure! I’m happy to share this lifestyle with anyone and everyone. We all deserve a happy, healthy, and abundant life and a healthy lifestyle does just that. I'm glad you're feeling better. You don't owe me an explanation. I watch your channel, because of your honesty. Much love to you, Miss Stacie🙏

Regarding the volume: I usually consume 1500-2000 calories in a 4 hour window. Sometimes more, sometimes nothing at all for days. Instead of big piles of greens, I prefer drinking green juice! That's why I love my greenstar - lots of celery, cilantro, parsely, dandelion, even stinging nettle when it's spring. I live in NY so bananas, dates, apples, are ever present. Cases of oranges in the winter, lemons, lots of melons (especially local seeded watermelon) in the summer. Again, I'm a big fan of juice and smoothies for ease of and depth of detox. I don't think eating MORE VOLUME is always the answer for everyone. From my experience, it seems as we raise our vibration, we need less dense food. Practices like daily mindfulness, gratitude, kriya yoga, and meditation can nourish ourselves in total different ways. We are beings of energy... not earth. Some yogis rarely eat or even sleep. To quote the wizard of oz (I think) "You had the power all along, my dear". You are loved and supported regardless if you eat #fullyraw or include curry dishes like many enlightened yogis purely for pleasure, or subsist purely on golden retriever puppy meat (if you truly feel in your heart that it's the right thing to do). Enjoy your journey. Keep following your intuition if you feel you need things like buckwheat, quinoa, or sweet potato, or whatever! Namaste <3

Hi Staci. I did the same think when I got pregnant with my baby. I still eat a lot of raw fruits and vegetables, I also included very clean grains and starches. It still a low fat died vegan diet. I do feel that is much easier to sustain. I am happy for you wish you the best like always my friend :). Sending a big hug from Suki(my baby) and me. :)

I have been raw and high raw plant based. I am currently high raw. I can say this.... looking back on my past videos I look much healthier on a raw food diet. That is why I am preparing to go on a raw food diet for a month and then decide if I want to continue or not. If nothing else, a once a year raw cleanse for me I think is a good idea. It is easy to consume too much salt, and to eat more cooked food than you intended to when you eat high raw. Also, I would like to let you know that unless oatmeal is organic, it probably has roundup in it. Do a search on that and you will see an article about third party testing on that. Grains and beans are also sprayed with roundup prior to harvest to 'dry them up'. So, I only eat organic grains and beans. Rice is the exception. Rice from Thailand(Jasmine) and India(Basmatic) are lowest in arsenic, I am sharing all of this with you because I learned it along the way.
I totally understand the good, better, best and keeping a good mindset in regards to food. God bless! :)

I'm mostly raw but not 100%. I enjoy watching Jack Albritton who will eat some potatoes or beans, Mimi Kirk is high raw amazing and eats 10% cooked, and I like Marcus and Cara from The Healthy Life who are high raw. I occasionally have oats, some beans, rice paper wraps (because I love them), or whatever I want that's vegan if it suits my situation. When I can do it I'm fully raw. When I can't or don't feel it I don't. I think raw is optimal if I can get as much in as possible. I went into this with the goal of 60% raw and I surpass it. I think what you are doing is perfect for you! I love that you are listening to your body. That's what we are supposed to do anyways. You are evolving and it's showing in your face in a lovely way. Keep on doing it! 🤗

Hi, Staci. Two people I admire in the raw food movement are Drs. Rick and Karin Dina. They are not 100% raw themselves. Have you read their book: The Raw Food Nutrition Handbook? Also, curious if you've seen RawFoodRomance or TannyRaw's what I eat in a day videos. They're almost 100% raw, and they seem to be thriving. Just some ideas, not saying I disagree with what you said here. Honestly, it sounds like you're almost 100% yourself! I think you're doing better than probably 99% of the people!

Miss Staci thank u for this video, i can really relate. I tried going fully raw for some time and even though it was high volume my weight would drop and i got down to being unhealthily skinny. I think it has to do with gut health and mucoid plaque in gut causing malabsorption and thus weight loss. I think as long as the diet is mostly raw that should still nourish us while we continue to detox our bodies. God bless xx

I understand. I was on strict fully raw diet. I noticed that my mental and body was not well. My doctor said I am under in minerals, vitamins, and weight. I had to make a change. I am now on a high vegan diet, still on fruits and vegetables but add cook dinners. I feel so much better, mental and my energy.

Her answer at 7:30 💞 I started off raw & it did not take long for me to realize the same thing.

I am a newbie to your channel and absolutely love it. I think whatever you do for your body is what's best. You know your body. And I don't think there is anything wrong with you adding in oats and other grains as long as you can handle it. :)

Have you tried bloomed wild rice? Sprouts? I'll share my new secret dressing too: 6tbsp hemp seeds, 1tbsp dark miso, ginger powder, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, water to desired consistency. "Miso ginger hemp ranch" cover a bed of fresh romaine, tomatoes, avocado, sprouts, possibly a ferment like sauerkraut, etc. Also enemas and intermittent dry fasting. Wonderful videos and vibe. Fully support you, sister.

Hey Staci, I know you just moved to Tucson (so you might not know) but Sprouts grocery store sells fully raw oats (organic also). Its located in the dry food section in the middle of the store. .... I'm just letting you know so you can stay close to raw as possible. ....🙂

You are living the diet, you share the first hand knowledge and that is better than the experts.
I think you may be letting the trolls make you second guess yourself.
Good luck,
