CNBC's Steve Liesman joins "Squawk Box" to discuss the results of CNBC's latest Fed survey as the Fed kicks off it's two-day policy-setting meeting. Nearly 80% of the 43 respondents believe the Fed will cut rates at its meeting this week, the third cut this year. But 63% believe the Fed will pause in its rate cuts for the remainder of the year. On average, the respondents, who include fund managers, economists and strategists, think the next cut will come in February.

So is this good economy fake? Why is there so much quantitative easing with record low employment and record stock prices? 🤔

The producers and directors of Thursday’s Morning Joe cablecast
have my heartfelt thanks for providing that group shot of the entire program participants,
confirming ‘appearance journalism’ does exist, some people were beginning to
doubt me. This 100% shot is rare since there have most always been at least one
in the crowd that would look like a normal human being instead of some
displayed never aging hair dyed freak of nature. Television journalism has turned
into a question of, which comes first, chicken or egg, or, make-up or news
script…each fighting for dominance on a newscast…the loser will always be us,
the viewer…
