I was in a very bad emotional place in my life when this show first aired. 15 years on I'm still in that place. I never left. 15 years on, this compilation expresses exactly what I feel. And like this fictional character, I pushed away more than one promising romantic relationship. I hurt someone who loved me dearly. And then I did it again. For a brief moment in time, I was able to escape this path, but I got drawn back into it. I became everything I loathed in my father. She loved me when I couldn't love myself. By the time I showed the courage to express my regret, she had moved on.
