ONEWHEEL GT first impressions

Been riding the XR since release, 2k+ miles. First impressions of GT. Note- I did lower air pressure even further than in the vid and noticed my wheel is much more stable now. That and I'm getting used to it. I'm sure I'll change my opinions over time on the board, just my immediate first impressions here. Hadn't even ridden the board before recording, so truly my first impression.

Fangs are super important imo as well. Countless times have I been saved by them. I ride a lot of alley ways in the city and sharp turns coming off a bank or just launching hard. And that couple seconds of ride out in the fangs is huge. GT looks refined. But the XR is still the king

Thanks for the video man still trying to decide what tire pressure is safe at my weight 190 lb to get some more stability without ruining the rim. Still hoping for float Life savers soon

I agree on the ride experience. They would have had the perfect board if they didn't try reinventing the wheel. Making a bigger hub and smaller sidewall tire ruins the comfort ride. You can lower the psi below 10 and gain stability but will lose range, acceleration and speed. Also run the risk of damaging the hub. The extra power on the GT is nice for riders over 200lbs like myself. Also the extra braking power that it offers is nice! 😎🤘 So far with my GT it's been a mostly love and a little hate relationship.
