Nostradamus 'predicted King Charles will step down from throne for unexpected monarch'

A leading expert on Michel de Nostradame claims the famous sixteenth-century astrologer once predicted that King Charles III would step down from the throne for a mystery monarch.

Late author and scholar of medieval Mario Reading's book from 2006 retells the supposedly prophetic readings from almost 450 years ago that were given for the 21st Century with one passage possibly having relevance to today's Royal Family.

Referring to a 1555 Nostradamus poem that said "a man who never expected to become king" would take the throne, Mr Reading proposed it might be Prince Harry who becomes the monarch one day instead of his brother.

This has already happened, in 1936 King Edward VIII abdicated the throne and handed it over to his brother George VI, which was a surpirse.

Rubbish, it's been badly interpreted. The king stepping down is one thing, the unexpected monarch is another story and that refers to Queen Camilla. William will be king and not in the very distant future

Well, they did find Richard 3’s bones in a parking lot in Leicester 10 years ago. And it’s assumed the bones in London tower were the two Princes- but QE2 wouldn’t give a dna sample. What if those bones are not the princes’ and they escaped? The Tudors essentially stole the throne and that is who Charles and all descend from. What a 500 year old ghost comes back for its throne? Could this be what Nostradamus saw?

It's impossible for Harry to become King, because William, George, Charlotte and Louis are already in the line of succession and if Charles would abdicate then William will become king as heir to the throne.

He may have made predictions about future monarchs and the era they would reign in but he never said king Charles or Queen Elizabeth. I would imagine his prediction if true was about Edward VIII abdication.
