So, you’ve made the decision to go to graduate school. Now what? While the graduate school application process can seem daunting at first, there are plenty of tools available to help you put together your most competitive application. Understanding what admissions committees look for in applicants is the first step to maximizing your acceptance odds. In this event, a panel of faculty members from various STEM graduate programs will share insight into the complex decision-making process of admissions committees. We will cover topics such as: “What makes a successful application?”, “Who should write my letters of recommendation?”, and “How much is my GPA/GRE weighted?”. Whether you are considering a master’s or a Ph.D. program, this event will remove some of the mystery from the admissions process and help guide you toward a successful application experience.
