The thing I love about this is that the woman's reaction to the two guys kissing is "Well, that's good." and not reacting in disgust. I knew Clarence was an awesome show before, but this scene made my entire day.

Who wants to bet that a bunch of parents are going to complain about this and get that episode banned or have that scene removed?

What is wrong with society?

Ok, so this ISN'T ok, but on Disney two teenagers can TONGUE kiss in the rain and everyone is ok with it because they are straight?

i think it's pretty radical that they didn't make it a big deal nor did they do it for publicity. you're the best cartoon network :)

Hey Clarence fans! I make music for Clarence and wrote and performed the music for this bit, so happy to be involved! I can confirm the lyrics are "Love is Love, Lovely Love, Oooooh, Lovely Love!"

Love is Love y'all, it's for everyone :)

I grew up with uncensored anime so I actually saw a lot of gay and bi people growing up on like sailor moon and Card Captors Sakura but its true that for an American cartoon, this might be a first.

originally it was going to be a mouth kiss and one of them had flowers, but they had to change that :/

So epic. This was the joke I would've seen coming on a show for teens or adults, but it was a massive surprise coming on Cartoon Network! Way to go! Clarence team has some major guts, and Cartoon Network is on the right path. ;)

In "Jeff Wins" it is confirmed that Jeff *A main character* has 2 moms.
This show is not homophobic, or anything like that. It portrays these things as normal things, they treat Jeff's lesbian parents very casually, not drawing attention to it by having anyone say "HEY! YOU HAVE TWO MOMS?
no, this is portrayed very casually, even in this video
Ms. Baker says "Oh, well that's good"
the song says LOVE IS LOVE, LOVELY LOVE
It doesn't matter what gender you are, you can love whoever you want. like, whatever. Love is love, who cares.

*species does matter doe I am against bestiality.*

No, they showed another LGBT couple in the Courage the Cowardly Dog episode; "The Mask".

The homophobic comments are so hilarious.

No one remembers the scene in Ed Edd n Eddy where eddy kissed Double D on the lips?

Or when courage showed a lesbian couple on "the mask"?

Fun Fact: This scene is actually what made me learn about the LGBT community. I was at my cousin's house and this scene played, and my cousin was all confused on why two boys were kissing. My older brother said "So? It's natural." (bless his soul) and he and my aunt explained that they were gay. Being a kid, I was like "oh that's weird, but I respect it."

This is why I love it when kid shows actually portray gay characters. It exposes kids to this early so they know that it's okay. And watching this scene again, I love how they actually portrayed the character's reactions! It's more played as "she thought this was the guy who she was going on a date with but it turns out he was not only the wrong guy, but he was gay! that's awkward for her!", and even then the teacher says, "Oh...well good for them." I love it when kid shows tell kids that this stuff is normal. Hell, Arthur even just portrayed a gay marriage, and I'm happy that even younger kids get to learn about this!

Good on you, Clarence!

This was actually quite a surprise on first watch! This is something you won't expect from a children's show. I'm glad Cartoon Network's showing that there's nothing wrong with someone's sexuality!
