How to flip your mirrors on a Harley Dyna! (same process for Sportsters, but no extension bracket needed!)

I've had tons of requests for this video. It's quick and easy, just be VERY thorough when checking for clearance between the mirrors and the tank after mounting them. Mine had clearance at first, but b/c of the vibration, the left mirror moved a little bit and ended up touching the tank at one point. Has since been fixed, but just a heads up. Just did this on my 883 today with aftermarket mirrors. A little finesse but they clear the tank and work great.

the Krator extensions weren’t compliant with my softail street bob fxbb. Left bracket wasn’t long enough to clamp onto the end of the top of clutch. The bolts were also not long enough to tighten down my stock mirrors.

Suggestion, relocate the turn signals to the forks and give the mirrors more room for adjustment.

Thanks for the video! This extension could be very handy for Sportsters too. The Custom and some of the Low models have wide tanks and with low handlebar risers the flipped mirrors are very hard to set properly and avoiding them to hit the tank (even with 80cm wide handlebars).

I tried to flip my mirrors on my 2018 fatbob and to keep the mirror from touching the tank I had the mirror at full deflection with really no adjustment for riding. The new fatbob has a smaller tank and I believe the brackets would be the ticket for me to work well. Thanks for posting!

You and Adam Sandoval, and Ashley, Girlon2wheel you guys and gals have inspired me to try to get a Motorcycle but I haven't been through the safety course that they provide. I don't even know how much that cost but it's worth knowing that you have safety and Knowledge about Motorcycles.

Hey so I have a 2017 dyna wide glide these worked great on. Just have a question about the light housings you have I’m trying to delete all the chrome and having a night are of a time trying to find black housings

are they the standard indicators? on my 14 dyna they dont have that flat plate mount they actually connect straight down and screw on to the mirror thread so im not able to do this

I flipped mirrors on my Fat Bob today. Swapped left to right. Took some adjustments to get them just right. They don't hit tank. First ride after. Wow, I always had to move arm and shoulder to see clearly behind me. Now unobstructed view in both mirrors. I spotted video when I was looking to see if anyone had done it. If so, we're the OEM and require parts or modifications.
