Russell Brand Rants At Fox News 'Savages' & You'll Totally Agree Why

"Actor Russell Brand has always been somewhat politically provocative, and now he's done it again with a diatribe against Fox News over a clip described on BuzzFeed as possibly the craziest rant ever done on the cable news network. In the clip in question, Judge Jeanine Pirro went after President Obama and said he "didn't have the balls" to try Gitmo detainees, as well as citing a report from conspiracy site WorldNetDaily about ISIS forces being trained by the U.S., among other things.

Brand repeatedly mocked Pirro for her "incendiary and provocative" language, including when she referred to ISIS as "savages." And in response to Pirro calling ISIS a "fanatical religious terrorist organization," Brand said, "So's Fox News. It's a fanatical terrorist propagandist organization.""* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola (TYT University), and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down.

It should be illegal for 'news' channels to have presenters rant whatever opinions they want. Obviously there will always be idiots that will form an opinion just by watching shit like Fox. I live in UK and don't know how it is in American but honestly that shit seems like pure poison I'm happy I never see a presenter on news or other programmes give a personal opinion, crazy that she could chat such shit on T.V it's so worrying! Comedians have great insights on life. They see a lot of activities done by others and can use comedy that many can laugh at due to the fact that there are elements of truth behind them. It may not be the full truth, but still carry enough for people to relate, understand and giggle. Some comedians even think they're stupid, but in reality their humility only keeps them stable in their direction towards being knowledgeable.

I like what you guys stand for. I like your message. One thing I don't like and one thing that is NOT helpful is when you resort to personal attacks and name calling. Picking on Fox News correspondent Jeanine Pirro's personal traits and especially the comment about turrets is completely unacceptable and here is why... If you use the argument that "they do it" then you are in effect, serving them the ball. You are then "playing their game"...

Your message is way to important to resort to the very kind of behavior you fight against. They only do it as they have no real merit or legitimacy. You have real merit and legitimacy... Now, you can argue this all day long but the fact is, you're NEVER going to change the mind of extreme ideology. Therefor, you must try and convince the "middle" to come to the side of reason. As soon as they see the same kind of behavior that "Fox News" distributes, the person in the middle will subconsciously render your entire message as more of the same rhetoric. The people already on your side, especially the extreme love it. But you already have them.

You need to conduct yourself with the utmost integrity. Say what you will about mainstream media, they don't report on anything hurtful to their sponsors and or owners but they have professionalism and they have integrity in the delivery of what they do report... If you all conduct yourselves like Scott Pelley, it gives your message an iron clad protection that will simply inflame the people and organizations under your scrutiny... We need you. Take yourselves more serious. You're right to do so... I want to come visit and support you but you must first clean your house and for god sake, take out your trash it's smelling up the place...
