Building Research Careers with Yassin Elfaki, PhD

Dr. Yassin Elfaki obtained his BSc and MSc in Medical Laboratory Science from the Sudan University of Science and Technology. His PhD, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), explored regulatory T cells in the context of viral infection, under the supervision of Professor Jochen Huehn. Before taking up his current role as a senior scientist in Oncology R&D at AstraZeneca, he worked as a postdoc under the supervision of Professor Lucy Walker.

This webinar centres on his experience building a research career as a Sudanese immunologist.
