Renowned Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, best known for her hits Total Eclipse of the Heart and Holding Out for a Hero, joined Ken Bruce to discuss her upcoming tour dates and share her favourite Golden Years tracks from 1971.

As well as selecting songs by iconic artists such as Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, and Rod Stewart, Tyler delved into her early beginnings, recalling her experiences singing in church and meticulously memorising song lyrics by recording the Top 40 on a reel-to-reel 2-track tape. She had an amazing voice in the 80s, when her range was incredible. That hoarse sound she gets, why didn't Ken ask her about her voice and singing style, and how its changed over the years. That's her instrument and it would be nice to hear how Bonnie discovered it.

She pronounces "France" in British accent, however in the song "Lost in France" she says it in American accent.
