People who stutter often face challenges in all areas of the workplace, from job interviews to daily interactions with co-workers and supervisors, and even career advancement. Unfortunately, companies and colleagues who misunderstand stuttering may consciously or unconsciously treat people who stutter differently from their fluent peers.

This webinar provides an overview of employment laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which protect people who stutter from discrimination, retaliation, and bias in the workplace. You’ll learn about your basic employment rights, how to access and ensure workplace accommodations, and hear real examples from case law to help make the legal process more accessible and relevant.

Watch the recording to empower yourself with knowledge about your legal rights as a person who stutters in the workplace.

This is an excellent resource. As both a lawyer and a PWS I found it insightful. Thanks to everyone involved.
