I'll have to go with the one made with a lasso, something about the colors' variety in shading + use of gradients with hard edges is really enticing

Subscribed a while back, I absolutely adore how you use shapes in your illustrations. like damn, you really illustrate almost like you're modeling a 3d object.

I'm also an artist, I struggle with understanding how to illustrate shapes and planes. Seeing your work always inspires me.

Gives me a better understanding of techniques to pick up on. It's amazing, not to flatter you too much.. HAHA I'm glad you started posting shorts too, it's nice seeing you get more recognition (๑•̀ㅁ•́ฅ✧

To answer the question, the lasso tool + short brush gives off a more polished piece. While the hard brush feels more fluid, a bit more organic feeling. Similar to acrylic on paper.

Thry both look great! Personally thoufh id say the bottom. The lasso really gives it that nice clean crisp look

Hmm what about blocking with the hard brush then ctrl-click the block to airbrush a bit, this way you avoid the lasso, which at least I find tedious...

both doesn't show much of a different actually. The one techn with lasso tool if you use more airbrush or blend off some part it will make a big dif.
Anw, both look nice btw!

How did you change the green to blue so quickly? Was it a gradient map or something else? What's da coloring process?

They look exactly the same because of your art style. I'd say it doesn't matter
