- About The Song: Really buried bass in the mix, it was really hard to get it right on the end chorus, since i used an isolated track i found for the rest, also live videos as reference

The bass was really quiet on the mix, luckily i found an isolated track. This is a great line actually, it's a shame it didn't have more part on the mix. Song is in C Minor modulating into F Minor for the choruses

Cminor (Natural/Eolian) Key: Cm(I) Ddim(II) Eb(III) Fm(IV) Gm(V) Ab(VI) Bb(VII)

Fminor (Natural/Eolian) Key: Fm(I) Gdim(II) Ab(III) Bbm(IV) Cm(V) Db(VI) Eb(VII)

A C major appears as a dominant for the Fminor (usual major V on harmonic minor with a natural E instead of Eb, creates more tension into the Tonic)

For the bridge there's a chromatic passage in the bass that creates some tension but resolves again into Ab (you could say this part modulates to Ab (relative major to Fminor). Solo goes back to Cminor

The line goes over mainly on Tonic and 5th of the chord but there's some really great covering of the harmony in some parts, great ideas rhythmically also

You are helping me a lot. In a few weeks I will perform this song live with my Band. Until then I will get every single lick under my fingers. I will Tell the sound engineer to turn the bass up on this song, I never realized how cool this line is. 1200 people are expected to the Festival we will be playing at, so I am very excited. Also, this is the last song on our Setlist so I will have fun on the last song.

I've watched quite a few of these videos and it has helped me bring my chops back up to where they once were. People always comment on how insanely good the bassists are who wrote this stuff, and don't get me wrong they definitely are. But, one thing I think a lot of people fail to mention is that the guy making these videos is incredibly talented to be able to accurately replicate all these kickass lines. Keep up the good work! You've rekindled my love for playing bass that has been lost on me for far too long
