In 2007 my wife and I were in Venice and we lived next to the canals we also went in the gondola the water was very very polluted because of water traffic, let's hope that it doesn't return to that.

So much mindless graffiti defacing almost every surface in Venice. It is a shame that both the residents and the City government have so little civic pride and do nothing to clean it up or prevent it.

Ofcourse no tourist came due of the lockdown restrictions only within the region you lived in.
If were lucky ot more discipline rather, we may see forigners flocking in this coming months but for right now there is no directives from the italian prime minister.
