My grandmother unintentionally overwatered her plants.
She has passed already but last year her mental state was quickly declining due to dementia and alzheimers. As such she would quickly forget she whether she watered her plants and some dried up and some were a swamp.
I went over as often as I could to either drain some plants or quench the others. I also invested in a series of realistic fakes that I put in a pot with drain holes that my grandfather poured out every night.
Those plants brought her such joy.
