Arrma Kraton 1:5 on HOBBYWING 12S power gets a pair of L-shape piggy back reservoir shocks that extends the travel of the oil which can help to smooth out the drive with better performance.

Spring coil thickness is increased from original 2.5mm to 2.6mm and 2.8mm for more powerful use. The shock shaft is made 6mm thick (original 5mm) and smoothly polished to achieve higher durability and prevent bending.

Good video. I’m thinking about these shocks for my K8s but I was concerned the piggyback is pretty exposed on the rear shocks. Looks like it could be damaged easily.

I also have a k8s and I like the build. I've seen these Gpm shocks before but I was wondering why didn't you go with the ajustable shocks Gpm has for the k8?

Also when your car lifts from the front too much is due to the rear shocks being too stiff, not because they are too soft. You want the rear softer than the front. You want the front to make the most contact with the ground.

If you bend the shock shaft, you won’t be able to buy a single replacement

The piggy back shock only looks slick as they have no practical purpose. They also add weight to your truggy. The spring perches hardly ever get messed up.

Overall you’re just adding weight to your vehicle which will cause other shit to break.
