In Minerva Mills case 1980, Supreme court ruled that under the article 368 parliament's power to amend the constitution is limited.
Accordingly, This limited power of parliament to amend the constitution is part of the basic structure of the constitution.
This is also in accordance with other parts of the basic structure for example-
Judicial review, and the supremacy of the constitution.
