This is not correct information, our factory in the north suffers tremendously with lack of employee education, commitment and basic skills. Our engineer candidates have no formal qualifications, our supply chain of raw materials is of poor quality and frustrated with selfishness behavior of employees who we pay over the northern expected rate, treat them well with a clean environment and food. After many accountants we have not yet found a real accountant with most having bad experience for making 2 books; the mentality is to please government instead of presenting reports to the company. The work culture here has forced us south where we hope our research and visits turn out to be right

1. BRIBERY 2. LAWS & RULES CONTANTLY CHANGE (OR THEIR INTERPRETATION)

OTHER CONCERNS ARE UTILITIES (WATER IN HA NÓI HAS HIGH ARSENIC). VNESE ARE WELL EDUCATED AND THE LANGUAGE USES ROMAN CHARACTERS. VNESE ARE HARD / DEDICATED WORKERS.

Rules change to often, corruption is too common, Vietnamese Government is not helping so I think you are pushing sh*t up hill. Banking is so unregulated as is real estate. so lobby the government first then us.

communist china and communist vn are two but just one entity! if you had bad experiences investing in china, you should expect the same in vn with your money. and if you want to take the risk with your hard earned money, then it rests on you. don't be so upset later if anything goes wrong or out of your expectations with your investments! good luck!

Why would anyone try to start a business in a country where the banking system is a totally unreliable and corrupt, real estate prices (and thus rents) are unimaginable (HCMC has the second least affordable real estate in the world) due to the corruption and dirty money which drives prices up? As desperate as multinational corporations are to leave China, the fact is that Vietnam has received very little of this business because the corruption and fraud is even worse than in China. And the infrastructure is terrible. As bad as the opportunities are for large corporations to invest in Vietnam, it's infinitely worse for small businesses. If you want to lose all of your money, try starting a business in Vietnam as a foreigner.

You need to enrol into economic course to get basic ideas about the economy. Vietnam way better than any country in South East Asia for foreign direct investment. Vietnam has political stability unlike Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipine: demonstration, anti government protest, terrorist organisation. Secondly, Vietnamese has a higher intelligent, willing to learn new ideas, innovation and hard working . if you go to the Philippine and Thailand, people prefer go to Church on sunday and buddish temple, business closed down . Malaysian and Indonesian pray 5 times a day, dont eat beacon and egg. The list goes on and on. The problem with Vietnam is that too many walking texbook for political leaders and university graduate. They dont know how to sell. Like a guy know how to sell himself to a girl, not all chick agree but some will buy his product if he got the recipe correct according to diffrent taste like Uncle KFC
