After reading about all the hype, attention and controversy Fifty Shades of Grey has been getting I started to wonder just how does it stack up against the loud, shocked reaction the 1932 film Freaks had received. It seems like it pales in comparison. So I decided to make a trailer for Tod Browning's classic film using the Fifty Shades trailer as a template just for fun.

Tod Browning was a great director and Freaks is my favorite film of his. James Whale of that time would be my other favorite horror director. It's cruel, sad, vicious(especially at the end) and definitely not P.C. there is no way this film could ever be made today. American Horror Story did get away with it. Making this again in the big screen, never happen. There is an alternate ending and it's interesting.

Наткнулась на клип случайно. И сразу вопрос.

А почему никто не залил этот фильм НА РУССКОМ?! Я бы ХОТЕЛА его посмотреть, мне уже ИЗ ОДНОГО ТОЛЬКО КЛИПА жалко тех людей. Эксплуатация уродства - как же это отвратительно - это просто преступление, какая дикость, exploitation оf illness ради выгод, так НЕЛЬЗЯ!!!

КАК ЖЕ ТАК ВЫШЛО, что это было И ДОПУЩЕНО, чтоб они работали в цирке; отвратительно и не за что этим людям такое унижение - они НЕ ВИНОВАТЫ, что такими родились.
