Seat Ateca New Car Review SUV - Family of 5 with 3 kids under 7 - is it a good family car?

In July 2023 we traded in our Landrover Discovery Sport for a 2020 Seat Ateca Xcellence LUX TSI EVO SA 1498cc Petrol. We are a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 6, 5 and 3. This video is my honest review, from a Mums perspective as to how suitable the car is for our family and what we use it for.

Hi, we have an vauxhall insignia an do alot of holidaying in the UK. The space just can't beat. However looking for a new car, the boot space is probably top priority. I see it's 510 litre. The mpg looking for economical. Would you say the Seat Ateca is ?

The adaptive cc is certainly very cool, and it's good to see manufacturers include it as a somewhat standard now. That windscreen has taken a beating! Sorry to hear it.

I’ve had the same issue you’had today with a VW tiguan and an Audi Q5, both automatic. It’s all due to the start&stop system in the VW group…

Wow that stone chip is so unlucky, I know this an old video. Interesting dashboard dials for the rev counter and speed 😮

That gear box error is due to a small gear position sensor error its not very expensive get it replaced asap mine was changed free of charge under warranty.

This is about 6 months late lol. The dashboard screen going off happens when one of the fuses blow, used to happen in my seat arona, easily replacable though!

But you have told us nothing about engine, gearbox, performance, road holding, economy, in fact everything that matters. Glad to see with children in the car the driver had both hands on the wheel.
