Old School VS New Wave THRASH METAL

Metalheads.

Thrash metal runs through my veins. I love everything about it and it will always be very present here in this channel.

For this video I created these riffs based on some of my favorite bands of the genre. It was extremely fun to do.

It was also a bit challenging playing this fast right after recovering from being sick and barely touching the guitar for a whole week. But I'm all better now and I'll be back soon with more 🤘

Finally, someone who understands thrash. Most videos I see like this just have basic power chords and open E string chugging. But you made actual interesting riffs that still fit new and old school

Fantastic vid as always. I love both Old School and the Newer stuff when it comes to Thrash. Old School seems to be more blunt and to the point while the New Wave bands are more technical (I mean that as a positive to both). Also that second riff you did for the New Wave of Thrash was brilliant. It was like Maiden meets Megadeth :)

Honestly, I have to say, even some of the "newer riffs" seemed as if they could of been something an older Thrash band could have played.
