Glad you are safe and windows held in place! Florida afternoons storms can be like that. My bestie is in high-rise: her pillows and cushions are pinned to balcony furniture. Furniture will scoot a few feet but not turn into missiles. It’s a life style! 😂

We live right here in Kyle Texas October 31, 2015. We had about 18 inches of rain for six straight hours but 730 that morning. We had a strong F1 tornado winds up to 130 miles an hour and this was at 7:30 in the morningand I was right here and Kyle Texas

Once I woke up at 5 in the morning and I asked my mom what was going on then she said we had a tornado warning and we heard the sirens I was so worried but no tornado actually hit but I was still worried so I stayed awake for the rest of the morning

My sister lives in Flower Mound..they clocked over 90mph...

I was here too. Our marina, Eagle Point, faired pretty well but some had some damage, mostly from wave action. I was very lucky. On the other side of town, Ray Hubbard, I heard they had a LOT of damage. I was woken up around 5 am and I walked to front of house, then the sirens went off and it was time to hide in the closet. Scary stuff.

Quite the show I am sure from that elevation! In the northern burbs we had 65+ gusts. We escaped damage, but our neighbors not so much.

If you ever hear lining in Texas, please do not go outside because our lightning is bad really bad last time. It felt like it struck something. Just don’t go outside in Texas when you ever hear lightning dangerous stuff by lightning just don’t.
