BTW the Soviet cosmonaut gun was not made for if the cosmonauts ended up in the wilderness, it was made for WHEN the cosmonauts ended up in the wilderness. The landing system for the Soviet Space Program just kind of plopped them in the middle of either Siberia or Kazakstan

you failed to mention that the sandstorm in a bottle can get you up to 74 mph horizontally, genuinely ditching the wings and going for a balloon setup in a few bosses is kind of worth it
