I'm actually blown away that anyone thought Ben Affleck was in the right here. I could've sworn this was such a clearcut beat down from Sam.

Geezus. They OBVIOUSLY didn't listen to a damn thing Harris said on that interview.

This is one of the clearest examples where the View Hosts gets something completely wrong simply by not paying attention to what's being said. Both Bill and Sam respect peoples right to belive whatever they want as long as it doesn't cause harm to others.

Facts will never matter to people who can only deal in feelings and emotions.

Amazingly managed to miss the point completely about what Maher and Harris were making - even after Harris telegraphed exactly how they'd misunderstand the point, they still managed to miss the point in exactly that way. Credit to them I guess.

Easily refuted. An ideology is not a person. 1.6 billion people holding a wrong/bad ideology is still wrong. Just logic.

Everyone has already made the comments that I was going to make.

Soooo.... I guess I'm done here.

These women just did not listen to Sam nor Bills arguments at all. Neither Sam nor Bill classed all muslims as bad ... if they ONLY listened to Sams concentric circle argument, which is a FACT to start with, rather than be overcome with mental blindness. Astonishing, just astonishing

Wow, Its funny when people seem to cover their ears when they hear something they don’t want to hear and completely miss the point. It’s just what Affleck did, and then these people only hear what HE said. Maher and Harris never generalized the whole Muslim world. They actually said several times that they didn’t...

As usual, Ben and The View are clueless about the world.

The simple point everyone opposing Bill maher and Sam Harris missed, is
their main point, what this all started with: CRITISIZING a POINT OF
VIEW, an OPINION and/or a RELIGIOUS BELIEF is NOT the same as
DISCRIMINATING or GENERALISING a RACE OF PEOPLE.
That's just simple factual logic.

Ben Affleck was literally “talking out of his ass”. The actor had no idea what he was talking about. I’m certain Affleck had no idea who Harris actually was. He certainly never read any of Harris’ books 📖. This is why famous people like Affleck and O’Donnell should smile and keeps their mouths shut on topics they don’t understand. I grew up within 10 miles of where Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, is from. Our High Schools were competitors. Why she ever thought that this poor excuse for a man would be a good husband and father is beyond me. The man is just another obnoxious person from “Bass-ton”.

Bill and Sam are talking about ideas while the "celebrity" yells: "la la la... no, you're talking about people... lalalala"

They couldn't articulate Sam Harris point of view so they failed to acknowledge him but obviously they would support Affleck so typical

So.... they didn’t listen to or even WATCH what they’re talking about...

Maher and Harris argued that the DOCTRINES of Islam, NOT THE PEOPLE, are problematic. One is words, the other are

Ben is belligerent. Woke. Closed minded. Can't see past his nose.

It's funny you didn't even mention Sam Harris, and yet I've seen the interview where Harris put his argument so neatly and logically. Guys I'm sorry to say but you're so so biased and you have an agenda.

These ladies are ignoring the same statistics that Sam Harris was intending to reference and focusing solely on generalization rather than the actual discussion.
