Показать описание
Namaste Everyone,
In this video, I have discussed in brief the online course that foreign educated PTs have to take along with the CAPR Credential evaluation for PCE.
Many of us get confused between the bridging course and the online course that we take to get a better understanding of how physiotherapy works within the Canadian Healthcare system.
Usually once you send your documents to CAPR you get an email with details regarding how to complete this course requirement.
Cost- around $500
Timeline- 1-3 months
This is how it is explained on CAPR’s website-
“Criterion 5: Knowledge of the practice of physiotherapy within the Canadian healthcare system
CAPR requires that all applicants in the credentialling process take a course in the ‘Context of Physiotherapy Practice in Canada’. This course must include a formal method of assessment that tests students on the course content. Information on Context of Physiotherapy Practice in Canada courses it will be sent to the applicant after the applicant’s credentialling application has been processed”
This course is completely online and you can do it from one of the following Universities-
1.Physiotherapy Practice within the Canadian Health Care Context (University of Toronto, Department of Physical Therapy)
2.Orientation to the Canadian Health Care System, Culture and Context for Internationally Educated Healthcare Professionals (University of Toronto)
3.Physiotherapy Practice in Canada (University of Alberta)
