In this episode we first discuss my branding shift towards becoming a #publicthinker, after 23 years as a futurist, wanting to tackle broader, system-wide issues like humanism and AI, climate change, and global collaboration to address the significant challenges facing humanity (not just business). This is the choices (use A.I to drive ad revenue business models, surveillance, constant psyops gaslighting, hell simulations) or (use A.I tech to find sustainable tech, and sustainable energy, and lift all boats).

People can select parts of conversations they have with language models that they want to merge into a collective intelligence. A global digital platform that can merge the knowledge and sentiment expressed in millions of simultaneous conversations into a shared graph representation can be built by the end of this year. This would not be AGI, it would be collective human and digital intelligence.

Humans living in 3rd World Nations run by Oligarchs and Dictators (who are almost always empowered by powerful Nations) are at real risk of perpetual Slavery if AI/AGI and eventually ASI becomes reality. The people living in these countries are mostly poor and helpless and are going to be exploited further. Their life could easily be marked down to useless creatures to be created or discarded at will. Over 3-4 Billion people fall in this category. Questions of Ethics and Control have to include them as well but no one seems to talk about and discuss what AI will do to them.
