The iPhone 8 is an premium smartphone from It’s time. I still got this phone right now and honestly, I’m not selling this as this is my most favorite to date. ❤️🙏

Nice to see I'm not the only one still rocking the 8. Had mine since release, never had it serviced and old age is starting to catch up with it. The charging port gave out a month ago so I've had to resort to wireless charging and the battery gets pretty hot most days but I don't particularly want to replace it.

I disagree - I'm still using the base iphone 8 and it is not slow at all. Takes a little longer to open heavier apps like facebook or mostly games, but it still runs pretty much every app you can find on the app store and breezez through the ui on ios 16.7.2 - no stutters, no hold ups, no nothing.

I bought this used almost 2 years ago as my entry level iPhone. Still use it as a back up device, despite no longer getting software updates. Gives me more options: should I leave Android for Apple, or should I stay on Android?

I just got a refurbished unit to serve as a replacement for my iPod touch (6th gen), specifically used for music streaming due to its comparable shape i.e curved rather than sharp type edges) and also weight.

It will primarily function as an iPod rather than a phone. My iPod has been dealing with battery swelling problems, and given the repair costs, I decided to go for a cost-effective iPhone instead.

I'm interested in knowing if this phone encounters similar battery swelling issues and if it has an automatic charging cutoff when fully charged. As someone more inclined towards Android, my familiarity with Apple devices is limited, so I'm uncertain about certain features.

To be fair it did bring fast charging and wireless charging but it's not as good as a release as the iPhone 6S.
