Converting to a Sublimation Printer -- Hiipoo Sublimation Ink

I am so excited to start experimenting with sublimation. I just purchased my Epson ET-2720 and am pairing it with Hiipoo sublimation ink. A cost effective, and easy way to DIY your own sublimation printer.

I emptied and cleaned original bottles and used them for filling with sublimation ink to fill printer for the first time because of their special tops.

Cons. If you dont print to much. Later when u print you will notice stripes or lines printed

I guess that they no longer make the 2720 brand new, so the only option is to buy used…. If someone had previously had normal ink in the printer, can it no longer be converted to sublimation???

I've seen a lot of videos of people doing this. Are you able to print white, if there is white in your design, as these printers do not have white ink? Are you only able to transfer to a dark color t-shirt. Kindly share your thoughts on that, all this reading is very confusing. Thank you

Very curious about this. However I was told the regular printers heat the ink up to high and its advised not too. Can you show a video on how it worked and a few projects.

I add the sublimation ink and it kept clogging up so I trashed it and got another one and it happened again no good

@relliecole6857 now I just bought a Epson 2800 inkjet printer I put the original ink that came with the printer in the printer instead of supplemental ink and DTF ink which I did not know you could do. Is it anyway to clean the ink out to be able to put supplemental or DTF Inc in the printer
