Can the State of Ohio please check with another infectious disease modeler in addition to Cleveland Clinic? The State of NY has a population of 20 million -- almost twice that of OH at 11 million. In addition, they are a more densely populated state than we are. Yet in spite of that NY is having a peak infection rate of 6 - 7K new cases per day. How can OH have to prepare for a peak of 10K cases per day? This does not seem to make sense? Also keep in mind Italy has 60 million citizens -- it is a very densely populated country with an aging population -- even so Italy has never had a day of 7K new cases. It seems totally impossible that OH will peak out at 10K new cases per day?
