Nope, it’s a generational thing.people unwilling to work hard-or work at all, unwilling to accept no for an answer, unwilling to work towards a long term goal, and completely unwilling to grow a pair and toughen up when people are mean to them and things are unfair; I’m so sick of hearing how words are violence and everyone is a bigoted, misogynistic RACIST. Like no, please stop- and I’m only 36

It is a cultural thing though, generally harder workers in rural areas raised to be that way, while again, generally, I see more slackers, criminals, and people that don't take personal responsibility for their decisions in more urban settings, blame all their problems on the government/the patriarchy/racism/etc. just to struggle to keep their part time job at taco bell or wherever because they either don't know how to manage their emotions or just generally were not taught how to behave/hold themselves. These older folks were just more likely to have grown up in rural setting as cities weren't nearly as sprawled as they are now.

All I'm saying is there isn't a single damned person from my class that doesn't have a job, hell probably not anyone in my school in general. REGARDLESS of race (though we are like 95% white where I grew up but I think that is correlation not causation). In my upbringing people were taught "suck it up" "tough shit" "that's life" "deal with it" etc. rather than being coddled by media and people that self pity and finger-point with everyone around them. There were a few like that around me, but they were more often than not mentally ill or addicted to something.

I work at strip clubs but I also donate to churches lmao, ik all about integrity and generational wealth.
Let me tell you something, we're all fucked. From old to young, everyone is shady. Old people just put on a front, then snap, young people don't give a fuck and will go off at any moment. It just is what it is.

Dude, you're bringing up the exceptions, not the rule... YOUR team may be good, but not the rest of the age group.. the elderly community that I KNOW (volunteering at multiple different senior centers) may be a little more direct and straight forward so YOU may think they're assholes, but they are loving characters that may not verbalize the way you want... but the under generation I interact with, fit the bill these older gentlemen are explaining about. The GENERAL PUBLIC of younger generations think the world evolve around them, not better for the community

Hard time's create hard men, hard men create easy times, easy time's create soft men, soft men create hard times. Sorry bro but the old head isn't entirely wrong, you have thing's super easy and don't realize it bc you have no frame of reference.
