Environment Matters - Huntington Begins Major Brownfield Redevelopment

The City of Huntington is set to begin demolition of the former ACF plant along 3rd Avenue. The facility built railroad cars for over 100 years but has been idle and abandoned for decades. The project is part of the Huntington Brownfields Innovation Zone and has entered the DEP's Voluntary Remediation Program.
