Phasma is very good for Hvv. You just gotta put the turret down and it helps the whole team lmao
Edit: You forgot to mention that you can double-zoom with the blaster

I am a phasma main and I always lead the charge with her. I just always make sure to stay next to my teammates so they can't overrun me as easily. Because getting close quartered with a lightsaber is a bad time.

A few more things that I've learned:
1. Her blaster, like most other snipers in the game, has a secondary zoom. It's not that useful since it doesn't highlight enemies, but it's there for super-long range situations.
2. The "new" lunge animations for her staff strikes are wonky and should be used with caution and great timing.
3. She has some of the best hip-fire accuracy in the game, which means you only really need to zoom if your reticle is covering the entire enemy. Otherwise you can be guaranteed to get headshots even shooting from the hip.

A Phasma that controls a kill box for her team is how one should play her. She’s on par with Bossk in terms of area denial but just in a different manner.

I don't think you mentioned her special charging melee.
If you hit the staff button while running you do a sweet lunge and a staff swing.
there is a one second animation after that but it's cool.
i like hitting sabers with it cause it makes big sparks.

I play captain phasma a lot and one thing I have learned is you CAN beat a close range hero in close combat with ur staff I usually only pull this off when standing in the circle for my droid and using the “survivor” ability with staff strikes this can help a lot in close combat but doesn’t work really if the hero knows what they are doing 😅

Why not Anakin? His pull can be a death sentence for Phasma if he pulls her away from the droid.

I just started playing again recently and had 0 skill with force users, so I tried out Phasma and hot dang she just kinda wrecked. I only died when someone with a lightsaber ran up to me (remember, I haven't played in a long time, so I forgot how to avoid them). She's definitely one of my favorite villains to play as. Also loved the Droid Commando. Very similar play style, I thought.

Phasma is probably my favorite hero/villian. Can hold her own with sabers and she can fire her blaster forever.

instead of easy shots i reccomend laser wall durability as a phasma main. staff kills are ez pz and you get survivor so much more often
