How in the world do you upgrade the firmware? It tells you to do so right after you run it the first time, and just downloads a '.bin' file, but its says nowhere what to do with it

I seem to be the first one to actually get one in my hands. It's only slightly better than the Lizard. The biggest deception is that it doesn't do the job in one pass. The thing is you only have one pass to get a good scan and get every angle. If you want to combine scans, you have to do them in an external program. It makes very soft scans. I don't know why they advertise that this can do small objects. I tried to do a He-man figure and it can't get the facial details at all. It barely gets the shape of the hair. I tried to do a scan of my head, I have a beard and it doesn't even try. It just makes a void when it encounters any human hair. The only scan I did that I would call a success was a NES Rob the Robot, and it still had soft edges and lots of edge noise. The only use I can see this having is very large, plain objects.

Scan Lizard was kind of "meh" so I hope this is a better interation.

Some how, unlike what this video suggests, it will take a little more than scanning and having it turned into a printable file. What would have actually been useful is showing the actual process, not the marketing nonsense alone.

Very deceiving in the scaning industry when you dont show the full scan. You guys literaly only show when the lazer acrually starts meshing. Hope its good but at least the revopoint showed more than half a sofa with tha range

WTH Creality, there is literally almost no info about this product. I'm really intersted in what this brings to the table for affordable scanning, but after the disaster that was the Lizard a "flash sale" thats already down to less than 10% off is super disapointing.

MUCH rather spend 10% more after some reviews are in than spend $320 with practically no info at all.
