Last year, Russian artist Aftruu (aka Enviado Vida) joined forces with Norwegian singer, songwriter, and producer Astroleaf on "I've Been Letting Go Of You," an especially soulful debut collaboration, from two esteemed veteran talents in our ranks. Returning this year for an equally memorable sophomore effort, Aftruu and Astroleaf now present "Rewind To Remind," a deep and dark gem that delivers a ferocious climax; Aftruu also provides the B-side "Tribute To Me," a much lighter and more atmospheric aural affair.

*Kicking off the EP, "Rewind To Remind" begins with the foreboding, muddled din of city traffic, late at night in the city. Bellowing bass swells reinforce the ominous aura, as does the emergence of Astroleaf's hypnotic falsetto. The instrumental continues to crescendo, ultimately enveloping Astroleaf's repeating refrain, eliciting a heightened level of suspense and anxious excitement in the listener. Finally, a formidable drop sequence, which moves to and fro with an infectious swing, is unleashed, thereby (exquisitely) releasing the song’s palpable tension.*

Pure class from Envadio and Ole, a truly amazing piece of music. Composed to perfection and each note is soothing, creating a blissful aural experience. Love the Title too, sometimes we have to look back to move forward and Rewind to Remind encapsulates that theory perfectly. Thank you to the artists for this magical tune.
