She might be small and light but when in the air he has to counteract her rotational momentum not just her weight. Boys are not just strong but their stabiliser muscles have to be strong as well otherwise there goes the wrist, an elbow or rotator cuff or all 3.

I'm watching my 13 and 14 year old granddaughters going through this now. The amount of work they do is incredible. Weight training in the summer and practice 4 days a week. 14 year old went to the Nationals last Feb. Took 4th place🤘🤘🤘
