The building he calls Mi5 is actually Mi6. Mi5 is Thames House, north bank. Which is a stunning building.

I'm not sure if some of these people know that the Tate is an old power station hence the industrial appearance but the theatre and that St Giles monstrosity is a dead heat for me.

I'd say Euston station, compared to other stations which kept some of their original engine sheds Euston just looks like an oppressive slab of concrete and misery, which as someone from outside of London on the West Coast Mainline means that's always my first experience of London each time I visit.

Visiting Kings Cross for the first time was incredible in comparison.

I think the National Theatre is pretty ugly. I'm glad that got a mention.

Centre Point is a great example of the beauty of concrete, and the National Theatre is an architectural masterpiece, a fine example of Brutalism, that works well with the river, unlike the atrocities that have been more recently built (the line of our river destroyed by corporate legoland monstrosities). The worst is the walkie-talkie building in the City (Fenchurch Street).

Agree with the guy who said the big orange St Giles buildings, can't stand those

National Theatre is like the worst 60s council house block ever made. Extremely dull, lifeless layers of concrete. Nothing theatrical or dramatic about it, a compelling irony.

I think that the walky-talky is such an eyesore. I also feel like its gonna fall every time you walk past it

Guy is spot on re' MI6 SIS Building (not MI5). MI5 is Thames House & much nicer (older). Love to be fly on wall of either.

I also dislike Tate Modern most. Looks like a huge dystopian crematorium.

Anything made from concrete from the 60s 70s 80s

Implied in the question is that he is asking about a famous London building. There are hundreds of anonymous blocks of flats and warehouses that make all of these buildings look like the Palace of Versailles.

Travel lodge in Southwark. An absolute eye sore. Looks like a prison.

1 Poultry, but even that isn’t as bad as the walkie talkie. That building is truly an eyesore. It offends me every time I see it. Ruins the skyline.

Remember when then-Prince Charles wrote that piece and came out against this drivel architecture like 50 years ago? Decrying the "concrete" monstrosities of the 20th century?
Once again, the King was way ahead of the curve.

The abandoned black building in colliers wood was ugly until they renovated it
