Thank you Guruji for this wonderful talk. Women not being allowed to read the Vedas or chant the Gayatri must have come later into practice when the system became patriarchial, isnt't it so? We cannot forget that in Kerala, your native state and that of Shri Adi Shankaracharya too, the system was matriarchial. In the rishi era, we had female rishikas too as Gargi, Lopamudra, Maitreyi and Arundhati and many more. And the custom of observing Arundhati and Vasishtha as stars rotating around each other in sychronity to signify a perfect marriage is when both move together symbiotically to seek spirituality.

- The Absolute Itself may have tipped the balance between men and women for evolutionary purposes (bodies and consciousness). From the researchers I've read who combine archeology and geology and ancient records...
- When Goddess worship was worldwide, the bounty of the earth was easy to gather. The climate changed after a devastating series of comets, and after the great ice age, and the massive floods of its melt off about 11k year ago.
- Humanity felt betrayed by the Goddess. Survival was really difficult. Massive migrations and wars over resources. Harsh conditions. One event is estimated to have wiped out about 90% of humanity.
- The men stepped up to the challenge, and also shielded the women who carried the future in their wombs.
- In time, that trend swung too far, to what we have today.

Yes Gayatri was chanted by women in the past. They also wore the sared thread and were priestesses. I think the invasions changed the whole system due to security issues as also due to male dominance which came up over the years

Women should be Priestesses. Gayatri Mantra must have been taught to Women at one time. A society like India 🇮🇳 or Ancient Egypt 🐪 has to have educated Women in order to advance. In my lifetime I want to bring back the sacred rites of divine feminine and educate women. You ARE GODDESSES 🌳!!! Keep CHANTING! ❤
