This webinar is delivered by Dr Courtney Genge, Senior Research Associate for SE Health, Ontario, Canada. It was recorded on the 22nd April 2020.

In this Webinar, Courtney discusses her Doctoral work on improving the quality and safety of care in emergency departments for people living with dementia. Her presentation will explore the current experiences of care that patients, caregivers, and staff report, and provide a framework of how we can improve in 5 key areas.

Courtney graduated in 2018 with a PhD in Dementia Studies after studying at the Bradford Centre for applied Dementia Research as part of their doctoral training centre on transitions in Dementia care. Courtney now lives in Canada, and has continued her research, working for an organisation that provides home and community care for older adults.
