Scapholunate Tear

Today I received the diagnosis from the hand specialist: I have a torn scapholunate ligament in my right wrist. It may take a little while for this information, in my responses to it, to settle in, but there is one thing I am sure of: on some as-yet unknown level this injury is a gift. My job is not to understand it, but simply to receive it, and use it for growth.
