Flight1 Cessna Citation Mustang for FSX

Watch in HD! This is the recently released Cessna Citation Mustang from Flight1. I just got started with this plane and am still in the stages of studying the Garmin G1000 before doing too many flights. This video is just a quick run through of a startup.

The plane can be purchased from the Flight1 website. In terms of Deluxe vs. Normal, Deluxe gives you more planes and more scenery. But if you plan on mainly using add-on planes and scenery you could save money going with the standard version.

The camera movement is done with a piece of hardware called TrackIR Pro. You need to read the manual that comes with the plane. It has a lesson on how to start up the aircraft and the first flight. Also I'd suggest you hit the Mustang forum over on the manufacturer's website at Flight1; lots of people there can give you detailed answers to any questions you have after you've perused the manual.

Yes, it is FSX. The cockpit movement is the result of a piece of hardware called TrackIR Pro. The Mustang can be purchased from Flight1.

Its not a program, its a piece of hardware. Comes with a sensor you mount on your monitor and some reflectors you attach to a any hat will a bill so the sensor can track the movements. You can buy the TrackIR hardware from sites like Amazon.

Yes, $54.95 USD. There are three planes I've purchased that were worth every cent, this is one of them and the PMDG MD-11 and Level-D 767 are the other two.

Look on the internet for the default Cessna set to cold and dark. Download the save file and copy it into your FSX saves folder. You should load that first, and from there you load the Mustang (by switching planes). Make sure the throttles are in the cutoff detente or you won't be able to fire up.

For the look around capability I use a piece of hardware called TrackIR Pro which translates the movement of my real head into movements inside the simulator.

No, they currently have not modeled a battery cart or ground power unit for this aircraft. I use FSIUPC to set the battery life to infinite so I don't have to worry about it.

this is the BEST payware addon for FSX, it has the most detail anything u think is clickable is clickable, and u can play ur music during the flight is FSX. Only thin bad about it is that it's a FPS eater abd by eater I mean it will chew and swallow ur frames from like 40 to 10-5 maybe 20 depends on ur system.

Like any other plane in FSX. You shut everything down, then save the flight. From that point on, when you want to start up from cold and dark you just load the flight.

Startup sequence: switch on Beacon and Nav lights BEFORE starting the engine please. This is to make sure people outside are aware the aircraft is about to start.

First you need to master the single engine aircraft like the Cessna 172. Then move up to some twins like the Baron. I happen to be a commercially licensed pilot, so I already knew how to fly and use various systems. Because of that I just had to study up on the Garmin G1000 in the Mustang to get competent in flying it fully.

In regards to the moving around bit in the cockpit, that is done with a piece of hardware called TrackIR Pro.

I have this. love it. better get those engines started on the Ramp quite quickly, you've got about 6 min. battery time, before ALL goes dark! lol! or: purchase the UFSIPC thing, and reset batt. life. I've got it down where i light One engine within about 5 min. then proceed with Cockpit, Before Taxi X-list. works just fine. this is an amazing airplane. also, check for Eaglesofts CitX for FSX, which sould be out in a few more weeks. that baby will be the crowning Jewel folks!!!

Think i'll buy this cessna, just wish flight1 or aerosoft would design the GULFSTREAM 550 for fsx or FS11
