Hive's Broken 'matched gameplay'

A problem that hive has had for a while is "matched gameplay". Today I address this mobile queuing issue.

As a hive partner I have more info on this, hive platform segregation only separates into 2 categories, pc, and mobile and console

Agreed, as a PE player it’s hard to get good clips when there’s that sweat with a controller, but it does give us a challenge. Overall this vid is accurate on how everyone thinks in the PE community.

Personally, I hate fighting touchscreen players, even though it usually means an easy win for me. I just want to fight other controller players to give me a challenge. I’ll most likely improve from it, but it will also save touchscreen players from dealing with me :) And I know it’s possible to tell people who play with controller on mobile because theres servers such as Zeqa that can do it.

This is a MASSIVE issue i had in my mobile days. Getting good to the point of competing with controllers is INSANELY hard, there are so many cracked controller players (tbh there are more actually insane controller sweats than on PC) and you run into them very often. Hive really gotta do something about this

I could relate to this vid very well. As a PE player, it is annoying to find a pc or controller player at the lobby, but there is also a benefit to that. The fact that your up against them challenges you to be better and come up with stategies. No matter how they sweat on you, if you have better stategy then you might mostly win.

I've been suffering still even now there's literally a plug-in to know who's useing what its a floating name of cps clicked or taped and the plat form they use it detects keyboard and mouse players instantly, same as regular mobile players or controller players

As an experienced Skywars mobile controller player, these things do happen a lot within the community and I’m always up against mobile players but most of the time I get put into the console due to the lack of console players. My boyfriend and I both have these problems with Hive community but instead he gets put into a pc lobby when he plays controller from his phone. As a mobile controller player, I do say that it’s very difficult not to be a sweat when you are in a mobile lobby. Unfortunately, the Hive only has 2 categories for this issue. I did notice this as well, most iOS controller players get put with mobile players while Android controller players get put with pc players.

I play on a console with a keyboard and mouse and i don’t get happy that i’m paired with controller players, the game gets too easy, i would like to get paired with windows 10 players, i think there should be a setting like some games have to disable cross platform matchmaking, those who use external devices to play should have it on as a default and others have it off on default, maybe they can change it or something along the lines

i agree with this too considering i’m a mobile player with a controller i get bored pretty easily since there’s not that much competition

I joined a game with my friend who was a level 21, I was level 30 (at that time) and there was a level 10 and one level 40 in the game. Rest of the lobby had grey name tags which meant that they were low. Me and my friend ended up with the level 10 and 40 (playing squads) and dominated the game. The Hive is not biased

I agree but I would think windows players have a advantage against touch screen, and controller over touch players also.

And the thing is that on Asia (for me at least), I’m mobile and I’m confident that I am going against pc players, not just controller

as a controller player, i hope that they will work on a controller on phone matchmaking system in the near future. cause it’s boring just absolutely humiliating these 6 year olds on their mom’s tablet.

To be honest that you know that I’m a controller player on iPad! I hate it. I can’t get good combos. In my opinion I like it when I get matched with pc players. And when you join someone’s party, like my friend on pc we will both be in a pc only game. And as I am a controller ish sweat it’s really fun!
