I have a weird reason that Corrin is my preferred Fire Emblem character in Smash, the reason is because the way he carries a Sword and does those water powers (never mind his dragon powers) reminded me of my favorite pokémon Samurott.

So Corrin is my second main in Smash

I assume Corrin is unpopular mainly for how a lot of people were into their side B and not much else, so when it was nerfed, people lost interest to the only tool that caught said interest. Which sucks because I love their playstyle, high range juggling game that makes them distinct in the roster.

Place great emphasis on "DI away can ruin the combo/juggle". In particular, proper DI can prevent certain kill confirms from working, whether with DI in or away depending on the move.

Fun fact: If you are a Fire Emblem character Main you are very flexible because they all require the Same fundamentals.

So it is Not very hard for you to master Lucina If you are a Corrin Main for example.

Imo, the Fire Emblem characters are the best for beginners because you have descent recoveries, you learn a Lot about punishing, spacing and about being patient.

I have played corrin since they debuted in Smash 4 and I have mained them along with Palutena, Zelda, Sephiroth, and Aegis. This guide along with many of your others are a tremendous help. It's also perfect timing since I have been watching corrin tech videos all day yesterday and last week. Thank you so much seriously, everything you do is so eloquently done and executed perfectly. So glad to see more corrin representation, people have just been sleep on the potential of the character. I love their versatility and options. I still do wish they hadn't nerf their ground and air speed. If they were a tad faster they'd have even more options. I also wish their recovery didn't feel so stiff when controlling the aerial drift. If it was similar to pits that would be fantastic! Thank you again for another amazing guide!🙌🏾💯🌟😊

I find corrin to be very fun. Certain things in their toolkit are harder to get used to than others; mastering the wierd angle and situation of pin goes from exceedingly frustrating to a heavy dopamine rush feeling move.

I'm surprised but glad an Art Of was done for them. Even if you don't like swordies or don't know how, Corrin is a great investment to your character pool
