A great little update on the office! Wow! Never in a million years I would of got what you do for a living! Must say the new motors! Certainly are some interesting pieces of kit! Nice to see you've gotten around to starting to install the sound. Sure you'll find a good way to get the speaker installed. The smaller sized speak looks like a better option for a better fit. Guess the electrics would work on it side, sure would save on space. Keep up the great work and thanks sharing!

Hi Kevin, well I would never in a million years had thought of you doing that job but someones got to do it!! lol.

OK, have you thought about mount the speaker in the body itself inside a self contained box, so you build a sound box shaped to the inside profile of the body and mount it permanently so that the speaker is facing upwards to one of the grills. I would also mount the decoder in the roof too mounted on a platform bonded to the body. When you have to take the body off you take the speaker and decoder with it. As regards the electronics then than can be just two multi pin plugs which you inplug for body removal. This was the method I was going to use on my Class 50 but I managed (just!) to get the speaker in the fuel tank in the end. Anyway, hopefully food for thought.

Really interesting what modellers do as a living. And you will find they come from all walks of life. Your line of business is one service that everyone will require that is for sure. Nice cars by the way!

Nice fleet of cars Kevin, I was a Funeral Director here in Northern Ireland but I have retired now due to health problems, I spent a few years in Leeds working for Dodgsons but I believe they have been taken over a few times since I left, sorry I can't help you with your speaker problem as none of my Locos are fitted with sound, good luck with finding a solution.

Well I know who I'm using when I pop my clogs - I've never been in a Jag! As long as you promise to get your foot down so I can enjoy a bit of tear up on the way! ;-) Congratulations on getting those - very nice indeed!

Guessed what you did a few months back with the help of my mate Google. Nice motors Kevin..certainly help with a stylish send off. Sadly too far away for my good lady who has terminal cancer or I would have used your services. Like the Western. Always fancied a touch of O, but too old to change now. Cheers, Bob

Hi Kevin, I was pretty certain that is what you did.  I was cruising around Truro in Street View a year ago or so and saw a business like that with your name on it and wondered if that was you.  If it was you, I thought, must be keeping it quiet so never mentioned it.  The restored truck a few months ago was a clue too.  It is a good,  needed and honest business, no need to hide it.  I am sure with your gentle personality the families really appreciate you.  Different subject, Could you mount the speaker vertically?  Maybe two facing opposite directions.  Just a thought.  Two beautiful Jaguars.  Good luck on the model.  Rob

Hi Kevin, thats a bit tight inside that body shell, I like what Graham has suggested, might give you the best options with the speaker and that decoder, surprissed how small the space is as the 52 is a large loco, keeps you busy tho Andy

very impressive cars and delivery. They even sound a little like diesel locos. Going to see if you got good advice on the speaker because fitting decent size for god sound is a problem.

Its interesting to see how the hearse is made over there compared to here.  The hearse is more closed not to see the inside.  I guess its a little too late to make a comment on the speaker since its been a long time up since I viewed it.  I am so far behind on videos.Scott
