There is a way to get Assange off the hook, but its bleak, due to the psychological torture he endured, his defense council can have him declared "not competent to stand trial." this will get him out of any charges or extraditions for further incarceration.

Assange is truly a hero. We in U.K. where Assange is currently held in horrible prison, Belmarsh we can’t understand why he is held as such. War on Iraq, frankly was based on “weapons of mass destruction “. Weapons inspector Kelly, Brit spoke out to say there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. He was pilloried in British press & found some days later dead with his wrists cut. Sadam was no hero, quite the opposite, however women were allowed to dress in western style, were able to go to university to have careers probably the most free in Middle East Now, thanks to Bush and Blair women are back behind burkas & civil war between opposite Muslims wages on. I believe that this was certainly not about Al Quida as Sadam loathed them, now they can enter Iraq freely but presumably it was about oil. I believe that Blair & Bush belong at war crimes tribunal at The Hague, at which their reason for invasion has shown to be false. Julian Assange who has shown us indisputable truths of barbarity on video is being held as a criminal. I truly cannot see any kind of justice in that. What charges is he being held under? I hope that my country U.K. will have backbone to help him back to his country, Australia. If not, British common law, which I believe is one of oldest in the world will be shown to be totally corrupt. This is a man of peace who wanted to expose war crimes. It is our duty as U.K. citizens to show our support & let Boris Johnson know that he will lose at next ballet box.
