when i saw the title i thought it was gonna be that show on fox called 'banzai.' you're right, i didn't remember this show.

occasionally i'll think about "I Survived A Japanese Game Show" and how it was like...a thing. but it's normally a passing thought.
As soon as you said _Majide, _ a collection of letters I have not heard in 10 years, I instantly remembered what you were talking about. Incredible.

I remember this game show, I participated in the Norwegian version! It was a little different than the American version. For instance the Japanese woman in the house was not referred to as "Mama-san"(very rude), but okaa-san. And instead of fighting all the time, we were so nice to each other, that Rome at one point said "Will you be my friends?".

But, it's reality-tv, so what you see on screen, isn't necessarily what really happened. So much is done in editing, that it turned me completely off reality-tv.

Feels like those reality tv shows that have moments of the characters doing an activity like bowling, and the rest is boring drama and dialogue. But it that was every episode

i would watch the fuck out of that celebrity "Japanese" game show imagine ray j reacting to japanese culture + i never imagined john mulaney and lil jon in the same room so maybe that'd be cool

Never seen that show, but loved MXC. It could have (still could be a great) concept. I would totally watch 2 chainz in an actual Japanese game show!

I must be one of the few people who actually enjoyed watching this show. I hate reality shows and all the shit that goes on with them, so this being different from 'normal' was very appealing to me.
